While traveling through Desolace I was sitting on the side of the road, tinkering with my interface. Suddenly a pair of figures came into view, walking down the road. It was Rexxar and his bear, Misha!

I got some good shots of them, but this cropped picture is one of my favorites. Kassini standing in front of the two of them, looking all dark and looming. Cool huh?

Lucky! You got to see Rexxar and Misha :happycry: Is he part of a quest or just an easter egg for Warcraft 3 players?

It's hard to remember. There might have been a quest involving him for Horde players, but so far as I remember he just walked a very long road between the Crossroads in The Barrens and the camp in Feralas, through Desolace. I have no idea if they're still following that path in the new world, if they're doing something useful now, or if they're even still in the game.

I miss WoW BEING WoW. It's been like five different games since then, and that's before they completely re-did the world.

Yeah I think the new boss Deathwing was part of warcraft 1 or 2. I never played 1 and 2 just 3

Yeah Deathwing is from the earlier games. Most of the stuff that happens in WoW is based in some way on the lore.

They retconned a lot of stuff from Warcraft 1; I don't think they expected it to be popular, or to make a sequel, or everything that came afterwards. Warcraft 2 they mostly left as is, and by Warcraft 3 they were taking the lore seriously. Though, they retconned the hell out of the Dranei, which still bugs me.

Yeah and now I heard a rumor that Blizzard might be planing on bringing the Panda in as a race... Please let it be true :pray:

One of the artists at Blizzard really likes pandas, and they included a Panda character in the expansion to Warcraft 3. Chen Stormstout. They said they wanted to add the Pandaren to WoW but they were afraid of upsetting the Chinese. Given how China has fucked with WoW so much over the years, it wouldn't surprise me if Blizzard finally said "Fuck China we're making Pandas." and went ahead with it.

Of course, it's also possible that Mists of Pandaria is an entirely unique game, and not a WoW expansion...
